Welcome to BradleyPryce.com

At the tender age of 8yrs old, young Bradley Pryce looked on from behind the bottom rope of the boxing ring at Newbridge Boxing Club and watched both his older brothers Byron and Delroy throwing leather with dedication and focus, it was there he decided to join his brothers in the ring and take up Boxing as his sport.

After winning his first fight at the age of 10 he was hooked!

After boxing for 7 yrs and building up a very impressive record that included 65 wins out of 70 fights, 7 Welsh Titles and a British Schoolboy title, Bradley fought for his first Senior Welsh title and won it in style. It was this fight that prompted Bradley to turn Pro and with it came a contract with non other than boxing promoter Frank Warren and managed by Enzo Calzaghe.

Despite winning 17 fights in a row and picking up the W.B.O and I.B.F intercontinental titles at light middleweight Bradley lost interest in the sport and nightclubs became his main hangout instead of the gym. His record and career suffered and it seemed all was lost. Bradley had two choices facing him one was to step up and take his beloved sport more seriously or simply quit.

Following the birth of his second child Bradley knew he had to take boxing more seriously and to take his career to another level to support his family.

In 2005 Enzo sat Bradley down and had a heart to heart talk with him about his future in the sport. It was this talk with the trainer of champions that Bradley decided to give Boxing his all and with his new found enthusiasm fought and beat Ossie Duran in a fight few thought Bradley would win and became Light Middleweight Commonwealth Champion. With his career firmly back on track Bradley has defended his title 3 times and in 2007 remains the current champion.

2007 has been a great year for Bradley with wins under his belt and a World title shot on the horizon things are looking good for the Welsh boxer. Bradley has also found sponsorship with local businessman and entrepreneur Naz Mohammed who is the owner of PLAY Bar and Club in Merthyr Tydfill www.playleisure.com as well as many other businesses in and around the country. Naz met Bradley through Merthyr Boxer Kerry Hope who is also sponsored by Naz and they hit it off immediately. Play is sponsoring Bradley for an undisclosed amount, however, it will certainly help the local fighter achieve his goals and help him on his journey to be another Welsh World Champion.

As Bradley puts it “ I want to repay my local supporters by going on to World Honours, without them it would be a tougher hill to climb”. With thanks to promoter Frank Warren, trainer Enzo Calzaghe, Sponsor Naz Mohammed, Sparring partners Joe calzaghe, Enzo Maccarinelli, Gavin Rees, Kerry Hope, Nathan Cleverley, Harry Miles and Gary Lockett and not forgetting Everton my Father and Jennifer my much loved Mother.
